Lake Jocassee Boat Rentals

Our address is 516 Jocassee Lake Road in Salem, South Carolina.  As we have 19+ acres and several driveway entrances, it is possible your GPS may tell you to turn at our boat storage. If this happens, please ignore the storage entrance and keep coming around the bend until you pass the RV park. Pull into the general store parking lot located on the right.

 Your rental agreement must be signed IN STORE by ALL PEOPLE in your group that are 18 or older. Parents must sign for any children or dependents. Do NOT drive directly into Devil's Fork State Park until after signing here with us. Doing so will result in having to come back out of the park. Contracts are NOT signed on the dock or within the State Park. 

In the busy season, there are days that we are required to shuttle our guests into the park. Typically starting in May and lasting thru Labor Day, we shuttle on weekends and on the 10 days surrounding July 4th.

Mon-Thurs: You will sign at the store and then head into the park with your own car.

Fri-Sun: You will sign and park at the store and will be shuttled by van to the lake. 

We require that your driver or drivers have previous boating experience. With that, please ensure your driver or drivers bring their drivers licenses to the store when signing. The boat cannot be rented without a valid and current drivers license by an experienced boater.

The U.S. Coast Guard recommends no child under 18 lbs should be permitted to travel on a boat and until they can properly wear a PFD. It is required when renting with us, that your infant be at least 18 lbs to ride on any of our vessels. Any child that is under 18 lbs and/or does not properly fit into your personal PFD or ours, will not be permitted to ride.

All children 12 and under are required to wear a properly fitted Type I, II or III PFD. If you bring your own, please bring it with your child when signing so that we can check for rating and proper fit.

A maximum of two dogs is allowed on our pontoons, for a non-refundable fee of $50.

DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON OUR TRITOONS OR SKI BOATS, NO EXCEPTION. 

The park can be incredibly busy on weekends. Please arrive at the store at least 45 minutes prior to your already scheduled rental. If you need a same-day rental, please call us to see what's available last minute.

Personal water toys are not allowed on rentals; however, we have tubes, skis, wakeboards, and knee boards available for rent.

If you need to cancel for any reason, notice must be given by phone a full 72-hours in advance of your boat rental start time. With 72 hours notice, a full refund will be issued. If on the morning of your reservation there is inclement weather that seems will be consistent for the majority of the day or is deemed unsafe for boating, a rain check may be offered. In this instance, your deposit may be used for your next rental within 12 months of your original boat rental date. Rain checks will not be determined until the morning of the scheduled rental. No exceptions.
